Car mats are important in every car in the sense that they give maximum protection against dirt, rain and spills. It is not only a luxurious accessory that gives comfort to every driver and passengers feet but most of all it provides protection against slippery floors.

I know some parents who are always worried with their car mats whenever the kids are in the car. Actually, they are not worrying about their kid’s safety but instead in the effort to maintain the cleanliness of their mats – “Oops, do not step on the mat with your wet shoes!” or “Careful, you might spill your drinks and foods on the floor!” is the common thing I would hear from them.
Most parents are not realizing the importance of the car mats for their kid’s safety inside the car. They don’t realize that it is not a mere rug to beautify the inside portion of the car but – a protection from slippery surfaces. It protects the kids from sliding around and banging their heads on hard surfaces due to wet floors.

So, the next time you have the kids on the car, don’t fret over its cleanliness rather be thankful that it can serve its purpose.

‘Cashmere Mafia’ Production Halted

Pre-production of ABC’s upcoming power-list-women drama “Cashmere Mafia” was halted due to its Queens soundstage getting flooded from New York’s recent torrential downpour, sources say.

ABC estimates production should be up and running again in a week, though sources say it might take a little longer. Premiere date not impacted.

The obvious joke: Not to be outdone, NBCâ€™s â€œLipstick Jungleâ€ plans to flood its soundstage and halt production for a month.

The event is headed up by Natalia Vodianova and her Naked Heart Foundation to raise money for building playgrounds for Russian children.
